Chris Goldfinger the Music Master

Join us this and every Friday and Saturday on Riddim1Radio for the Reggae Dancehall Show with the UK- based Chris Goldfinger. Chris presents the latest hits in dancehall and reggae and great information about the music. He also presents a very popular r&b show on Sundays called Soul Serenade.

Christopher Clarke, better known by his stage name Chris Goldfinger, is a former BBC Radio 1 DJ who hosted the station's reggae dancehall broadcast from 1996 until 2009.

Tim Westwood's Justice Productions produced his show, and Goldfinger regularly DJs with Westwood at club events. He grew up in Jamaica and went to Jamaica College for high school. Damian Marley, Beenie Man, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Capleton, and Barrington Levy are just a few of the musicians he's interviewed on Radio 1 throughout the years.

Goldfinger left the reggae dancehall show he had hosted for 13 years in 2009. He has appeared on the 1Xtra Dancehall Mix show after his departure (filling in for Young Lion).

Goldfinger is the proprietor of the Tab Lounge, a party establishment in Croydon. He does a lot of touring in locations like Zimbabwe, Gambia, and Jamaica. He joined Riddim1 Radio in 2020.
